Secret Weapon Book Review + The Real Solution

by Kevin D. Freeman on February 3, 2012

The research behind this Blog was recently published in a book titled “Secret Weapon; How Economic Terrorism Brought Down the U.S. Stock Market and Why It Can Happen Again.” You can learn more and even order the book from www.secretweapon.org. In its first week it was ranked as a New York Times best seller and was a “top 10” book on Amazon, which sold out of copies.  They have since restocked and the book is beginning to get traction once again. Glenn Beck called it a “must read” on GBTV and his radio program.

Please know that our purpose is not to sell books. We are instead working to wake up America to a serious threat that has gone unrecognized for far too long. We are in a spiritual battle that is manifested in an economic war. That’s the bottom line. Yet, the vast majority of policymakers either happily remain ignorant or are willfully ignoring the truth. Either way, it means we are in a pickle.

To illustrate the point, let me share one thoughtful review from John Little posted on Amazon. It’s buried in the list of reviews because it arrived a bit later than others but is well worth reading. I looked him up and discovered that John Little is one of the top national security Bloggers in the world. Here is what he said:

Secret Weapon: How Economic Terrorism Brought Down the U.S. Stock Market and Why It can Happen Again
Okay, here’s the short version:
Buy this book. Read it the whole way through – all of it. Believe it.
For the rest of you that need a bit more than that:
Some of you may not know that I spent time in the financial services industry in the 90s. It was an eye-opening experience, one that I both enjoyed and loathed all at the same time.
Suffice it to say that finance is both fascinating and full of the some of the most despicable examples of humanity imaginable. Spend too much time in the investment industry, and you also will become fascinating and despicable.
I got out while I was still just fascinating.
After having spent a decade and a half writing about global security and foreign policy, I see that I have something of a chance to tread through some of my old stomping grounds in the financial services industry.
If anything, it’s even more appalling now than it was then. It is hard to believe that we’ve let this happen to us. But, believe it I must, because I suspect that Kevin Freeman barely scratches the surface of what is possible.
I pray that we never know just how dire our current situation is, but I’m afraid that my prayers aren’t going to be answered the way I’d like. We are in for a rough ride, and America has determined opposition that is prepared to do whatever it takes, with whatever it takes, to achieve their ends.
Yes, when you finish the book, you will probably have more questions than answers. That’s often what you get when you enter the realm of covert operations and covert finance. But, the questions this book does answer should motivate you to action.
Please do not hesitate to act. I doubt that there is much time left for dithering.
So, I wholeheartedly recommend this book. It is well worth the price of admission.
Make sure that you apply what you learn.

That was a great review and is one of 19 wonderful reviews of the book. Thank you to all who have read it and were willing to share their thoughts.

I know it gets depressing. It is a harsh message because the truth is that things have gotten very bad, very quickly. Sadly, as the stock market has recovered to a new post-crash high level, many people are ignoring the difficult reality we face. Hopefully, the book will wake some people. The next question then becomes, What do we do about it? There is hope and there is something we can do. The answer is provided at the end of the acknowledgments section. It’s what Lt. General Jerry Boykin and I shared on the Glenn Beck program. Of course, we can and should do everything possible to correct the problems and get in the economic battle.  Individuals should prepare financially. We should demand that our government act responsibly. But, ultimately the real answer comes from a moral and spiritual renewal. We must turn to God in repentance and ask for His mercy. For some, this will be to turn to the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob who is the Heavenly Father and pray according to 2 Chronicles 7: 14. “If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”  For my heart, this requires crying out in repentance in the name of my Lord Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit.

The closing words of the book Secret Weapon:  “From my heart, I know that the best means of achieving a moral and spiritual renewal is to return to God in repentance and restore the greatness of our land. In the word’s of Ronald Reagan:

I believe with all my heart that standing up for America means standing up for the God who has so blessed our land. We need God’s help to guide our nation through stormy seas. But we can’t expect Him to protect America in a crisis if we just leave Him over on the shelf in our day-to-day living.

May we return our hearts to Him, and may God Bless the United States of America.”
